    Cream Cheese Chicken Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 small onion chopped
    • 1 Tbls. margarine
    • 3 cups chicken broth
    • 3 carrots sliced thin
    • 2 potatoes peeled and cubed
    • 2 cups cooked cubed chicken
    • 2 Tbls, parsley
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a large sauce pan saute the onion in margarine.
    2. Add broth, carrots, and potatoes.Bring to a boil.
    3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    4. Add chicken, parsley, salt and pepper.Heat through.
    5. Combine flour and milk til smooth.Add to vegatables.
    6. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes; stirring constantly.
    7. Reduce heat and add cream cheese.
    8. Stir til cream cheese is melted.
