List of Ingredients
- 3 cups peeled potatoes cubed
- chopped onion
- celery salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbls. flour
- 1 Tbls. chopped chives
- Whole milk as desired 1 -2 cups
Instructions
- In a large sauce pan combine the potatoes,onions,water, bouillon cubes and seasonings.
- Cover and cook till veggies are tender ( about 20 minutes )DO NOT OVERCOOK POTATOES
- Add the evaporated milk.
- In a seperate bowl mix the sour cream, flour, chives and 1 cup whole milk.
- Gradually stir in this mixture to soup base.
- Stir all together to thicken; add more milk if desired.
