    Carrots: Candied Carrots

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. baby carrots peeled
    • 1/4 cup margarine
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. lemon juice
    • dash of hot pepper sauce
    • salt to taste


    Instructions


    1. In a sauce pan, cook carrots in water until crisp tender.

    2. Drain and keep warm

    3. In the same sauce pan melt margarine and brown sugar til bubbly.

    4. Stir in lemon juice and hot sauce and salt.

    5. Return carrots to pan and heat through
