Green Beans: Green Bean and Potato Casserole

- 1 1/2 cups cooked green beans
- 1 cup peeled, chopped and cooked potatoes
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 Tbls. flour
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or velveeta cheese
- TOPPING:
- 1/3 cup cracker crumbs
- margarine
Instructions
- Mix together the cooked beand and potatoes, and place in a 1 qt casserole
- Fry bacon till crisp and break apart; set aside
- Cook onion in some of the drippings.
- Add flour and stir til smooth
- Slowly add milk.
- Cook stirring til thick; add cheese and continue to stir til melted.
- Pour over vegtables and stir well.
- Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and bacon and dot w/ margarine.
- Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes
