Turnips: Potato Turnip Casserole

List of Ingredients

-1 lg potato (8 oz), peel & cut up
-2 sm turnips (8 oz), peel & cut up
-1 lg onion (10 oz), sweet, peel & cut up
-3 TBS butter
-1 lg garlic clove, peel & mince
-1/2 cup heavy cream
-1 tsp salt
- black pepper
- nutmeg
-3 TBS heavy cream (on top)




Recipe

-Parcook the potato and turnips until just done.
-Saute the onion in butter.
-Mix all ingredients (except 3 TBS cream) together into a greased casserole dish.
-Top with the 3 TBS cream and bake in a preheated 325F oven for 30 minutes.
-Serves 4.
