    Tomatoes: Breaded Tomato Slices

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    • 1 Tbls. finely chopped green onion
    • 1 Tbls. grated Parmesan Cheese
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 4 medium red tomatoes; cut into 1/2" slices
    • 2 Tbls. oil
    • 1/3 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, onion, parmesan cheese, salt and Italian seasoning' mix well.

    2. Place milk in another bowl.

    3. Dip tomato slices in milk then coat with the bread crumbs.

    4. In a skillet, heat oil.

    5. Fry tomatoes slices for 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

    6. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and erve right away.
