    List of Ingredients




    Sauce:
    -1/2 cup butter
    -1 chopped shallot
    -2 pounds chopped chanterelle mushrooms
    -1/4 cup white port
    -1/4 cup chopped chives

    Scallops:
    -1/2 cup butter
    -2-1/2 pounds scallops
    -fresh ground pepper
    -1/4 cup white port
    -1/2 cup chopped chives

    Recipe



    -Sauce:
    -Melt the butter in a saucepan.
    -Add the shallots and the mushrooms, cook until soft, about 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
    -Remove from heat, add port wine and chives.
    -Heat until hot.

    Scallops:
    -Melt butter and sauté scallops and pepper.
    -Sauté scallops until they turn white and begin to lose translucency, about 10 minutes.
    -Remove from heat, add port wine and chives.
    -Add prepared sauce and heat through
