Hungarian Goulash

List of Ingredients
3 Tbs. Margarine
3 Cups thinly sliced onions
2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 paprika
1-2 lb. chuck or rump roast,cut into 1" cubes
4 peeled potatoes, cubed
4-1/2 tsp. paprika
3 to 4 c. water
4 carrots, peeled and sliced
Recipe
In hot dutch oven, melt margarine, saute onions with salt until golden.
Stir in 1-1/2 tsp. paprika, stirring well.
Add meat, simmer, covered 1 hr.
Add 4-1/2 t. paprika and enough of the 3-4 c. water to just cover meat.
Simmer, covered, 1 hr when meat is almost tender add the carrots and potatoes and cook until veggies are tender
