BREAKFAST: Lynne's Mini Cheese Danish

List of Ingredients
- FILLING:
- 2 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- GLAZE:
- 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp. almond etract
- 2 tsp. milk
- PASTRY:
- 1 pkg Pepperidge Farm puff pastry sheets
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- Flour
Instructions
- FILLING: Combine ingredients with a mixer and set aside.
- GLAZE: Combine Glaze ingredients and set aside.
- PASTRY:
- Each package contains 2 sheets which are folded into thirds. Unfold the shets and cut them on the folds and work with 1/3 sheet at a time, keeping remaining sheets in the fridge.
- Lightly flour surface and roll the 1/3 sheet out to a 12x9" rectangle.
- Cut into 12 squares.
- Place 1 tsp. filling onto each square.
- Fold 4 corners into center of pastry and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 450 degrees until puffed and golden.
- Remove from oven and immedialtely press 1 cherry into center of pastry over the puffed corner points.
- Remove from cookie sheet and drizzle glaze over each.
- Makes 6 dozen.
