BREAKFAST: Simple Breakfast Poundcakes

1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups white flour
1 Tbls. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbls. baking powder
3 eggs seperated
2 cups milk
1/4 cup melted butter
Recipe
Sift the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
Beat the egg yolks with the milk and melted butter, then stir in flour, sugar, baking powder and salt mixture.
Mix well.
Beat the egg whites until stiff, but not dry and fold into the batter.
Heat a large skillet or griddle and oil it slightly.
Drop the pancake batter on by large spoonfuls and brown nicely on both sides.
Serve immediatley with butter, syrup,honey, jelly or whatever you like. I prefer maple syrup.
