    CANDY: Pecan Macaroons

    List of Ingredients




    1 egg white- stifly beaten
    1/2 cup light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 cups pecan halves

    Recipe



    Add sugar to the stifly beaten egg whiteand continue beating until well blended.
    Add the vanilla.
    Stir in the pecan ahlves and continue stirring until the nuts are completely covered.
    Place nuts, individually on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 250 degree oven for 30 minutes.
    Turn oven off and let nuts remain in oven 30 minutes longer.
    Loosen nuts from pan while still hot.
    Store in an airtight container when cooled.
