    List of Ingredients

1 24 ounce round firm loaf of bread (I use sourdough)
2T vegetable oil (I use olive)
    1T butter
11/2C sour cream (I use reduced fat)
8 ounces shredded cheddar(I use reduced fat)
1 8 ounce pkg cream cheese softened (I use reduced fat)
1C diced ham (I buy the stuff already diced)
    ½ C chopped green onion
1 can green chilies chopped (4 ounce)
    1t worcestershire sauce

    Recipe

Slice off top of bread and set aside. Hollow out the insides with a small paring knife, leaving ½ inch shell. The recipe calls for you to use the insides for croutons. This is a pan in the butt. I buy a baguette and just slice it.

Combine oil and butter in large skillet. Add bread slices and stir until thoroughly coated. Put on cookie sheet and bake for 10 – 15 minutes until golden brown. 350 degrees.

Combine sour cream, cheese, cream cheese in a large bowl. Stir in the ham, green onions, chiles and worcestershire. Put this in the bread. Wrap with several layers of foil. Put on cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. My opinion here is to heat up cheese mixture in microwave and then put in the bread. You can cut back on the baking time if you do it this way.
