    List of Ingredients




    1 cup flour
    2/3 cup quick oats
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1-1/2 cups buttermilk
    3 tbsp. butter, melted
    1 egg
    1 tsp. imitation maple flavor
    1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and chopped
    3/4 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup raisins

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl; set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, butter, egg and maple flavor. Stir in dry ingredients, then apple, walnuts and raisins, stirring just until combined. Spoon into 12 greased or paper-lined muffin tins. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Makes 12 muffins.
