    Grandma Sharons Strawberry Cake

    This isn't the best LOOKING cake. Take it to a pot luck and watch everyone avoid it. But it tastes like some sort of sugary strawberry filled heaven.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg white cake mix
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 pkg strawberry jello
    • 1 cup warm water
    • 1 cup frozen strawberries with juice (thawed)
    • Frosting:
    • 1 stick margarine, melted
    • 1 cup thawed strawberries with juice
    • 1 Box (!!!!) powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Cake: Mix all ingredients together for cake. Beat well. Grease and flour a 9X13 cake ban. Pour in mixture amd bake at 350 F for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes back clean.
    2. Let cool.
    3. Mix all ingredients for frosting together and pour over cool cake.


    Final Comments


    That's not a typo - the recipe really does call for an entire box of powdered sugar.
