    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pkgs. yeast (4 1/2 tsp.)
    • 1/2 to 1/3 C. superfine sugar
    • 2 C. very warm water
    • 5 to 6 1/2 C. unbleached flour
    • 1 large egg
    • 1/3 C. vegetable oil
    • 1 tsp. sea salt


    Instructions


    1. Combine first three ingredients and let set for about 20 minutes. Combine all ingredients and stir well. It is not necessary to knead this dough. Carefully grease a large bowl. Place the dough, seam side up into the bowl. Immediately invert the dough so that the smooth side is on top. Let rise for about 1 hour, preferably in a warm place. Melt butter in a large pan. Form rolls and dip in melted butter. Arrange on a well-greased sheet with ends touching. Let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 370 degrees F. for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
