    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 C. unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 C. superfine sugar
    • 2 jumbo eggs
    • 3/4 C. boiling water
    • 3/4 C. mild molasses
    • 2 1/2 C. unbleached all-purpose flour
    • 2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
    • 1 3/4 tsp. ground ginger


    Instructions


    1. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Add boiling water and molasses and blend well. Mix together remaining ingredients and blend into wet mixture. Pour into lightly greased and floured 9-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 35-45 minutes, or until it pick tests done.
