    Gram's Rice Pudding

    List of Ingredients


    • 7 C. water
    • 2 C. rice
    • 2 C. superfine sugar
    • 1 C. canned milk
    • 1 T. butter
    • 2 T. superfine sugar
    • 1 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla


    Instructions


    1. In a big pot put water and rice. Bring to the boil and lower heat to a gentle boil. When rice pops add the sugar. The rice should be soupy, if not add some water. If you think it might have too much liquid let some evaporate. When the rice is finished (soft) add canned milk. Cook until desired consistency. Take off of heat and stir in butter, vanilla and cinnamon. Put into a bowl and garnish with extra cinnamon. Let cool.
