    These were one of my favorite cookies growing up. Everybody loves Nana's Glace Lace Cookies.







    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 C. unsalted butter, softened
    • 2 C. brown sugar, packed
    • 2 jumbo eggs
    • 2 C. pecans, chopped
    • 3/4 C. unbleached flour
    • 2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp. sea salt


    Instructions


    1. Cream butter with sugar using fingers. beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and pecans. Spread foil on cookie sheets and butter lightly. Drop cookie dough by tablespoons. These really spread. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 4 to 5 minutes. Place cookies in refrigerator and chill, then remove.


    Final Comments


    These cookies really spread. I would suggest only doing 6 cookies per pan at first to see how big they become. If not, you'll end up with one huge cookie.
