    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. creamy peanut butter
    • 3/4 C. superfine sugar
    • 1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
    • 1/2 C. butter Flavor Crisco
    • 1 T. milk
    • 1 tsp. pure vanilla
    • 1 jumbo egg
    • 1 1/4 C. unbleached all purpose flour
    • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp. sea salt


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Combine peanut butter, sugars, Crisco, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg.
    3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Make crisscross marks with sugared fork tines.
    4. Bake for 7 minutes or less, until tops are golden brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling rack.
