Peanut Butter Cookies

- 1 C. creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 C. superfine sugar
- 1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 C. butter Flavor Crisco
- 1 T. milk
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla
- 1 jumbo egg
- 1 1/4 C. unbleached all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine peanut butter, sugars, Crisco, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Make crisscross marks with sugared fork tines.
- Bake for 7 minutes or less, until tops are golden brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling rack.
