Vanilla Sauce

Recipe Introduction
This sauce is wonderful. Serve it over egg noodles for and unexpected treat. Make it a bit thicker and you have a lush pudding.
List of Ingredients
- 1 C. sugar
- 2 T. all-purp. flour
- 2 C. whipping cream
- 1/2 C. butter, cut in pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
- cinnamon for dusting
Instructions
- In a small bowl whisk together sugar and flour. Set aside for a moment.
- Pour cream into a pot on med-high heat. Add sugar/flour mixture and combine using whisk. It will be lumpy but just keep stirring and it will be fine. After a minute or so add butter lumps. Keep stirring until butter is melted and the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and cool just a bit then stir in vanilla.
Final Comments
This vanilla is a treat with cinnamon sprinkled on it.
