    Meat Loaf With Zesty Topping

    List of Ingredients




    2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 C. milk
    1 ½ C. soft bread crumbs
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 med. Carrot, grated
    1 sm. Onion, diced
    2 eggs, beaten
    ¼ C. catsup
    3 T. brown sugar
    2 T. prepared mustard

    Recipe



    Pour milk over bread crumbs. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, carrots, onion, & egg. Mix thoroughly. Pack into a 9 x 5” loaf pan or shape into 9 x 5” loaf. Mix catsup, brown sugar, & mustard. Spread catsup mixture on the meat loaf. Bake 300º oven for 1 ½ to 1 ¾ hours. (I double the catsup mixture)
