    We make this in a 22 gallon cast iron kettle. Makes Approx. 15 gallon

    List of Ingredients




    Origional recipe:
    25 LB. HAMBURGER

    6 GAL TOMATO JUICE

    15-20 LB. ONION

    SALT, PEPPER, & CHILI POWDER

    CHILI BEANS (WHATEVER YOU PREFER)

    2 C. BROWN SUGAR (MORE IF NECESSARY)

    GREEN PEPPER (OPT.)


    Specifics for our CF party:

    18 CANS TOMATO JUICE (1 QT – 14 FL. OZ. CANS)

    BEANS – 16 – 15.5 OZ. CANS –(201.5 OZ.) – 8 MEXICAN STYLE (or spicy chili), 5 RED KIDNEY, 3 light red kidney

    TOMATO SAUCE – 4 – 15 OZ. CANS & 7 – 8 OZ - (116 OZ.)

    DICED TOMATO – 6 – 14.5 OZ. CANS –(87 OZ) – 2 10 OZ. ROTEL

    12 GREEN PEPPER (A FEW RED)

    1 – 12 OZ. JAR JALAPENO

    For garnish:
    4 BOXES CRACKERS

    4 – 16 OZ. PKG. CHEESE




    Recipe



    Start soup about 10 AM. Bring to boil for an hour or so. Simmer all afternoon. Turn off from about 6 PM till 10 PM & turn back on to reheat until party time (midnight'ish)
