Peanuts: Sugar-Coated

List of Ingredients



• 2 cups sugar
  
• 1/2 cup water
  
• 3 cups raw peanuts
  
• Dash salt (my addition)
  






Instructions



1. Bring sugar and water to boil in heavy saucepan. Add peanuts. Cook and stir over medium high heat until thick and DRY. Pour onto cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 40 minutes.
   






Final Comments


Leftovers go well on ice cream with chocolate sauce.
