    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pounds reduced-fat Velveeta (or similar product)*
    • 1 jar salsa
    • Chopped jalapenos, to taste (opt.)


    Instructions


    1. Heat cheese in microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH until nearly melted. Stir in salsa. Serve with baked corn chips.


    Final Comments


    For lunch for the two of us, I will occasionally treat us to nachos. Cut a 2-inch chunk of cheese (we like Kroger's* reduced fat)and melt in microwave. Add about 1/2 cup salsa. Heat and pour over corn chips.

    Optional additions include refried beans, chopped tomatoes, black olives, sour cream, and guacamole.
