Dick likes old-fashioned southern cobbler made this way.


List of Ingredients




3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
2 cups peaches

Recipe



Preheat oven to 375.

Peel and slice peaches. Place in bowl and sprinkle a tablespoon or two sugar over top. Let sit 5-10 minutes.

Place butter in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish and melt in microwave.

Whisk together the 3/4 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour over butter.

Gently spoon peaches on top.

Bake for 45-55 minutes or until peaches are soft and edges of dough are browned.

Serve with whipped cream.
