    Sauteed Peaches

    List of Ingredients




    I put this together last night because I get tired watching peaches, etc. turn brown. This turned out beautifully. I'll substitute nectarines, plums, mangoes, and apples in the future.

    2-3 tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons cinnamon
    5-6 peaches, peeled and sliced
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    1/2 cup water

    Recipe



    Combine cornstarch and water. Set aside.

    Melt butter in large saucepan. Add peaches and cook a few minutes over medium-low heat. Add sugar and cinnamon. Stir until sugar dissolves. Cook about five minutes. Stir in cornstarch mixture. Cook, stirring often, until juice thickens. Stir in more water, if necessary.

    Delicious over angel food cake and ice cream.
