    Chickenbreast With Onion-Cream-Sauce


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/3 pounds chickenbreasts
    • 3 onions, big ones
    • some oil for frying
    • salt
    • pepper
    • 1 2/3 cups whipping cream
    • 7 ounces creme fraiche
    • 7 ounces gouda cheese, grated
    • cayenne pepper
    • butter for the baking thin


    Instructions


    1. Clean the chicken breasts from skin and bones, then put salt and pepper on it. Place in a baking thin, which is greased with butter.
    2. Peel onions, cut into halves and then into thin slices/rings. Fry in the oil until light golden and place over the chicken breasts.
    3. Stir together creme fraiche and whipping cream, flavor with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Fill in the baking thin and give into the preheated oven at 375 °F for about one hour, maybe little bit longer. 20 minutes before it is finished spread the grated cheese over the dish and finish in the oven until it's light brown.
    4. Serve with mashed potatoes and green salad.
