    90g Butter
    1/2 cup (100g) firmly packed Brown Sugar
    1 Egg, lightly beaten
    1/4 cup (20g) Coconut
    1/4 cup (25g) Wheatgerm
    3/4 cup (120g) Wholemeal Plain Flour
    1/2 cup (75g) White Self-Raising Flour
    150g Dark Chocolate, melted
    1.5 tspns Vegetable oil

    Recipe



    Beat butter & sugar in a small bowl with electric mixer until smooth, add egg, beat until combined. Stir in coconut, wheatgerm & sifted flours. Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls, place about 3cm apart on greased oven trays; flatten with a fork.

    Bake in a moderate oven (180c) for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays. Dip half of each biscuit in combined chocolate & oil; leave to set on wire racks.

    Makes about 35
