    2 Tbspns Honey
    180g Butter
    1/2 tspns Vanilla
    1 cup Plain Flour
    30g Icing Sugar
    45g Flaked Almonds

    Filling
    45g Butter, softened
    1 Tbspn Honey
    90g Icing Sugar

    Recipe



    Beat together the honey and butter, add vanilla, then stir in flour and icing sugar. Beat until smooth.

    Refrigerate mixture until firm enough to handle, then roll into 3cm balls and place on a lightly floured tray.

    Flatten each ball with the back of a lightly floured spoon. Press flaked almonds into half of the biscuits.

    Bake at 175C/325F for 15 - 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.

    Cool on the tray for a few minutes before placing on a wire rack.

    FILLING:

    Beat all of the ingredients until creamy and smooth. Spread a little onto each plain buscuit and gently press together with a half that has almonds on them.
    Serve immediately after filling.
