    Any sort of similar cereal can be used instead of Sultana Bran.

    List of Ingredients




    500g tin of Cooked Apple, chopped
    1 Tbspn Castor Sugar
    1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
    1 tsp Lemon Zest
    1 cup Sultana Bran or similar cereal
    6 sheets of Filo Pastry
    100g Margarine or Butter, melted
    1 tsp Castor Sugar, to sprinkle over the tops

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 180C.

    In a medium bowl combine the apple, sugar cinnamon, zest and cereal. Place to one side.

    Lay out a sheet of pastry and lightly brush with butter, place another sheet on top and repeat process until you have three layers.

    Divide pastry in half lengthways. Place two tablespoons of mixture at one end of the pastry, folding over diagonally and continue to fold into a triangle shape.

    Repeat until you have eight triangles. Brush the tops with butter and sprinkle with sugar.

    Place onto a lightly greased tray and bake on the middle shelf for approx 25 minutes or until golden brown and well puffed.

    Serve warm with ice cream or yogurt.
