    Aunt Linda's Chinese Chicken Salad

    Took the best from my friends recipes and made it my own.

    List of Ingredients


    • 1-2 Chicken Breasts (boneless)
    • 1/2 Bag of favorite salad greens
    • 1 Bunch of green onions
    • 1/4 cup Toasted Sesame seeds
    • 1/4 Cup Toasted Almonds slivered


    • Dressing for Salad
    • 3/4 Cup Sugar
    • 2 Tsp Salt
    • 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
    • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
    • 3/4 Cup Salad Oil
    • 1/4 Cup Sesame Oil


    Instructions


    1. Cut chicken into bite size pieces, season to taste, saute in oil or butter for 10 -15 minutes. Cool. or

    2. BBQ chicken until just done, it will continue to cook as it cools.

    3. Bake Almonds and Sesame Seeds in 350 degree oven ( toaster oven works) until light brown. Set aside.

    4. Rinse salad greens and spin dry. Assemble salad and dress with Sweet and Sour Dressing.



    Final Comments


    I sometimes toast Coconut and put into this salad.
