    We tried this recipe this weekend. It turned out great and was so easy. Enjoy!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 c. butter
    • 1 1/4 c. sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 c. flour
    • 1 T. baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 3/4 c. milk


    Instructions


    1. Soften butter.
    2. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until smooth.
    3. Add eggs and
      vanilla and beat well.
    4. Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    5. Add alternately with milk,
      and mix well.
    6. Pour into a 9x13-inch pan, bake at 375* for 25 to 30 minutes.



    Final Comments


    (The recipe doesn't say to grease the pan but I did and it came out good. I doubled
    the recipe and divided it into two pans. It looks like corn bread when it's done.
    Light golden brown. Tastes great.)
