    Recipe Introduction


    This recipe is from Quick Cooking, I think the first issue. It is
    easy enough for a child to prepare and delicious. The perfect quick
    winter meal.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg.[5-1/4oz.] au gratin potatoes
    • 1 can [11oz] whole kernel corn, drained
    • 1 can [10oz.] diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
    • 2 cups water
    • 2 cups milk
    • 2 cups cubed process American Cheese
    • Dash of hotsauce, optional


    Instructions


    1. In 3 qt. saucepan, combine the contents of the potato pkg., corn,
      tomatoes and water; mix well.
    2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover
      and simmer for 15 min. or until potatoes are tender.
    3. Add milk,
      cheese and hotsauce if desired; cook and stir until the chees is
      melted.
    4. Garnish with parsely if desired. Yield: 6-8 servings [2 qts.]
