    1 cup soft butter
    1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup finely chopped pecans

    Recipe




    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Blend in flour and salt; stir in nuts and chill.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. While warm, roll in confectioners' sugar; cool. Roll in confectioners' sugar again.

    Makes 4 dozen 1 inch cookies.
