    Aunt Ann's Strawberry Smoothie

    Recipe Introduction

    I had this at my aunt's house when I was on vacation, and it was delicious! This is a thick drink, that will stick by you for hours.

    List of Ingredients

    1/3 pkg. soft tofu
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    10 frozen strawberries, if not using frozen, add enough ice to make shake thick, at least 1 c.
    1/2 banana, optional

    Recipe

    Put all ingredients in blender, and pulse until all is mixed well.

    My Aunt shared with me that without the banana there is about 130 calories to one of these shakes, if you use 1% milk and the low-fat tofu.

    Feel free to experiment, and add any fruit (peaches, nectarines, blueberries, raspberries) combination...Frozen fruit if you have them, OR add enough ice if they are not frozen, to make the drink thick. I would say at least 1 c. ice. Add more if desired.
