    Sue's Cordon Bleu Casserole

    List of Ingredients

    4 c. cooked turkey, cubed
    3 c. fully cooked ham, cubed
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. light cream
    1 tsp. dill weed
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

    Topping

    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 T. butter, melted
    1/4 tsp. dill weed

    1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/4 c. walnuts, chopped

    Recipe

    In a lg. bowl, combine turkey, ham, and cheese. Set aside.

    In a saucepan, saute onion in butter, until tender.

    Add flour, and stir to form a paste.

    Gradually add cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil, and boil 1 min., until thick.

    Add dill, mustard, and nutmeg, and mix well. Remove from heat, and pour over meat mixture.

    Spoon into a greased 9x13" baking dish.

    Stir in cheese and walnuts.

    Toss bread crumbs with butter and dill. Sprinkle over casserole.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350, for 30 mins., or until heated through.
