Linda's Red And Green Cabbage Salad

List of Ingredients
Salad:
2 c. finely shredded red cabbage
2 c. finely shredded green cabbage
1/2 c. shredded carrot
1/2 c. chopped red bell pepper
1/4 c. finely chopped green onions
Dressing:
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 c. cider vinegar
Recipe
In a small saucepan, combine all dressing ingredients. Cook over med-low heat, just until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently.
In a med. bowl, combine all salad ingredients, and mix well. Add dressing and mix well.
Refrigerate at least 2 hrs. to blend flavors, stirring
occasionally. (As veggies marinate, volume will decrease.) If desired, stir with slotted spoon.
