    Sue's Beer Steak Marinade

    1 lg. onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
    4 garlic cloves, finely minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    freshly ground pepper to taste
    1 12 oz. bottle beer
    1 1/2 lbs. flank steak

    Combine all ingredients except steak, in a lg. self-closing plastic bag, mixing well.

    Add steak to marinade.

    Seal, and refrigerate for 12 hrs., or overnight.

    Remove steak from marinade. Broil 5" from heat 4-5 mins.
    on each side, or until desired degree of doneness.

    To serve, thinly slice steak diagonally across the grain.

    Makes 4-6 servings
