    Honey Lemon Ribs

    1 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 teaspoon cracked peppercorns
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    2 slabs of pork back ribs
    1 lemon
    1 onion
    1 can chicken stock
    Sauce:
    1/2 cup ketcup
    1/4 cup honey
    2 tablespoons steak sauce
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
    1 tablespoon grated lemon zest

    Combine thyme, cracked peppercorns, paprika, chili powder and garlic powder; rub this mixture on meaty side of pork ribs. Slice 1 lemon and onion and arrange on bottom of roasting pan. Place ribs, meaty side down, on top. Add chicken stock.

    Make barbecue sauce of ketchup, honey, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hoisin sauce and grated lemon zest. Baste ribs with barbecue sauce. Grill on medium-high grill for 5 minutes each side, basting frequently.
    Remove from grill. Cut each side into 2 portions.

    Serves 4
