    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1/4 pound ground pork -- *see note
    1 green onion -- minced
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon soy sauce
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/8 teaspoon Ac'cent (MSG) -- optional
    1 egg
    1 1/2 teaspoons cold water
    Won Ton wrappers
    1/4 cup cold water
    1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
    3 cups chicken broth
    1 1/2 cups shredded Chinese cabbage
    Julienne strips of boiled ham

    Mix together the ground pork, onion, soy sauce, salt, pepper, MSG, egg and 1-1/2 teaspoons cold water. Place 1/2 teaspoon of filling on each square of the egg sheets (you'll need 24 squares). Moisten edges with the water and cornstarch mixture.
    Fold over, bringing the opposite corners together to form a triangle. Press to seal.
    Drop the wontons into boiling water; allow water to come to a boil again, add 2 cups cold water, cover and let come to a boil quickly. Remove wontons, rinse quickly in cold water and drain. Bring chicken broth to a boil, add the Chinese cabbage and cook 3 minutes. Add the wontons and bring to a boil again. Garnish with ham strips, if desired.
