    For a quick no-hassle gravy, try this...works great! I use low-sodium chicken broth.

    List of Ingredients




    1 can (13-1/2-oz.) clear chicken broth (or beef)
    1/4 cup Bisquick
    1/4 cup evaporated milk
    1/8 teaspoon powdered thyme
    1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning or sage
    1/8 teaspoon paprika
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Combine all in a blender; blend on High 1 minute. Pour into a saucepan and heat until smooth and thickened. (I add this to the de-fatted skillet or pan I've used for browning chicken for added flavor.)

    Makes 2 cups

    Note: For Sausage Gravy: To recipe above, add 1 pound crumbled cooked bulk sausage with 3 tablespoons sausage drippings, 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning, 1 tablespoon minced onion and salt and pepper to taste. Heat gently, but don't boil. Spoon over buttered toast or hot biscuits.
