    Taco Soup

    1-1/2 pounds ground beef
    1 (10-1/2-oz.) can red kidney beans, undrained
    2 (10-1/2-oz. each) cans ranch-style beans, undrained
    1 (10-1/2-oz.) can hominy, undrained
    1 (10-1/2-oz.) can tomatoes with green chiles
    2 cups water
    1 (1-1/2-oz.) package taco seasoning mix
    1 (1-oz.) package dry ranch dressing
    Toppings:
    chopped avocado
    sour cream
    grated Monterey Jack cheese
    Crumbled corn chips

    Brown and drain meat. Combine meat and remaining ingredients in a large pot. Simmer 1 hour. Ladle into soup bowls and serve with choice of toppings.

    Yield: 12 to 15 servings
