    Honey Glazed Carrots

    Such a simple recipe but great flavor.



    List of Ingredients





    6 large carrots, peeled
    salt
    1/4 c honey
    1 c grated cheddar cheese


    Recipe




    Cut carrots in half crosswise.
    Cook in boiling salted water until just tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
    Roll each carrot in honey.
    Place in a 1-quart greased baking dish.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350 for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Makes 4 servings.

    If desired, top with chopped parsley.

    Notes:
    I used baby carrots and they worked well.
    I used sharp cheddar and baked for 7 minutes.
