    Good brownies!

    List of Ingredients





    1 oz unsweetened chocolate
    1/8 c cocoa powder
    1/2 c butter, cut into 4 pieces
    2 large eggs, beaten
    1 tsp vanilla
    2/3 c flour
    1/2 tsp baking powder

    1/2 c coarsely chopped nuts (optional)


    Recipe




    Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave bowl.
    Cook on medium until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
    Add cocoa and mix well.
    Stir sugar and mix until well blended.
    Add eggs and beat in immediately.
    Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended.
    Spread in an 8 inch round or square microwavable dish.
    Place a cereal bowl in oven, then place brownie dish on top of bowl.
    Microwave on medium for 8 minutes, then on high for 1 to 4 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
    Set directly on counter and let cool completely.

    Notes:
    My microwave is 1100 watts and I had to cut the cooking time a little bit.

    For a less chewy brownie, use no baking chocolate and increase the cocoa to 1/4 cup. Add to melted butter with sugar.
