Oven Baked Chicken (Bisquick recipe)

List of Ingredients






1 tbsp butter or margarine
2/3 c Bisquick
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb chicken, cut up





Recipe





Preheat to 425.

Melt butter in a 13x9 baking dish.

Mix Bisquick with spices and flour.

Wash chicken and pat dry. Coat with Bisquick mix.

Place skin side down in the pan - butter needs to be hot when chicken is added.

Bake for 35 minutes.

Turn chicken over and bake about 15 minutes or until the juices run clear.

Makes 5 servings.

High Altitude: Bake for 40 minutes, turn, bake 20 minutes.
