    Oven Baked Yogurt Chicken

    List of Ingredients



    1 chicken, cut up *

    1 c plain low fat yogurt

    1 tsp paprika

    1 tsp lemon juice

    4 slices bread, whole wheat recommended, dried and made into crumbs

    4 tbsp melted butter **

    1 tsp celery salt

    1/4 tsp pepper

    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce ***



    Recipe




    Combine yogurt, celery salt, paprika, pepper, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.

    Place bread crumbs on a plate.

    Dip chicken pieces in yogurt mixture then coat with crumbs.

    Place chicken in a shallow baking dish, skin side up then drizzle with melted butter.
    Bake at 400 for about 45 minutes or until done.

    4 servings.

    Notes:

    I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
    I used home made yogurt and it was fairly tart, but it added great tang to the recipe.
    I used home made bread, a wheat/white flour combination.
    I used about half of the recommended butter and just put thin slices on top of each piece of chicken rather than melting it.
    In place of the Worcestershire sauce, I used Maggi seasoning.
