    Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Cookies

    These cookies are mouthwatering!!!!

    List of Ingredients





    6 tbsp butter, softened
    1/3 c butter flavor shortening
    1/2 c plus 1/3 c sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 1/3 c flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    8 oz pkg (1 1/3 c) Reese's peanut butter cream filled baking pieces


    Recipe




    Preheat to 350.
    Combine butter and shortening in a large bowl. Beat until well blended.
    Add both amounts of sugar and continue beating.
    Add egg and vanilla, beating until mixture is well blended.
    Combine dry ingredients, then slowly add to butter/egg mixture.
    Carefully stir in the peanut butter baking pieces - you don't want to break them.
    Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
    Cool slightly then place on wire racks to cool completely.
    Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.

    Notes:
    I used unsalted butter and butter flavored crisco.
    Original recipe called for 1/2 c packed light brown sugar.
    I used a large egg, at room temperature.
    The baking pieces are like miniature peanut butter cups.
    I baked on parchment paper for 12 minutes.

    Variations:
    If you want a chooclate cookie, use only 1 cup of flour and add 1/3 c of cocoa.
