    These were good but I do think I'd adjust the recipe a little bit. See notes.

    List of Ingredients




    2 ripe bananas, mashed
    2 eggs
    1 c milk
    1 1/4 c self rising flour, sifted
    1/3 c ground almonds
    1 tbsp sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 c chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Mash bananas; add eggs and 1/2 c milk.
    Mix well.
    Add sifted flour, almonds, sugar and salt.
    Mix.
    Add remaining 1/2 c milk and chocolate chips.
    Stir until batter is thickened.
    Cook as you would for any pancake.

    Original recipe calls for topping of sweetened whipped cream and toasted slivered almonds.

    Notes:
    I used large eggs and low fat milk.
    I used Ghiradelli double chocolate bittersweet chips.

    The batter did not get thick and really ran on the griddle. The chocolate chips I used over powered the other flavors so I would add less and add them onto the poured batter rather than mixed. I might even try semi-sweet mini chocolate chips.
