    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
    • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup buttor or margarine
    • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
    • 1 can cherry pie filling, divided
    • 1 unbaked pie shell 9-inch
    • Whipped topping


    Instructions


    1. In a suacepan, combine sugar, cocoa, flour and milk until smooth.
    2. Add butter.
    3. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
    4. Remove from heat.
    5. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into eggs.
    6. Return all to the pan.
    7. Fold in half of the pie filling.
    8. Pour into pastry shell.
    9. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until filling is almost set.
    10. Cool completely on a wire rack.
    11. Just before serving top with remaining pie filling and whipped topping if desired.
    12. Yield; 6-8 servings.
