    List of Ingredients


    • 1 small box butterscotch pudding mix ( not instant)
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup evaported milk
    • pinch of salt
    • 1 tablespoon margarine
    • pecans or walnuts, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Blend dry pudding mix and sugar in a saucepan.
    2. Stir in evaporated milk, salt and margarine.
    3. Cook and stir ove meduim heat until the mixture boils.
    4. Lower heat and boil 3 minutes more, stirring constantly.
    5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts.
    6. Beat while hot and until it turns dull.
    7. Pour into a buttered pan or drop by spoonfuls onto aluminum foil or wax paper.
